Dank Session Delivery, LLC · OCM Cannabis Delivery License #LIC-L24-000125

Who We Are

Dank Session Delivery (DSD) is a veteran-owned, social equity-licensed cannabis delivery service operating under the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). We deliver orders placed with our licensed partner dispensaries to customers. Our focus is simple: compliant, discreet, on-time delivery and friendly service you can count on.

Delivery Hours and Service Area

  • Hours: Depending on which dispensary delivering for

  • Service area: Typically, within 3-to-5-mile radius of the dispensary the order was placed at

  • Deliveries are made only within the Minnesota Metro Area and only during hours permitted by state law and local ordinance. This includes Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding suburbs.

How Our Two-Hour Delivery Windows Work

We deliver in two-hour windows. Orders placed with a partner dispensary during one window are scheduled for delivery in the next window. Delivery hours and windows will be dependent on dispensary’s hours of operation.

Example:

Order placed between

Scheduled delivery window

10:00 AM – 11:59 AM

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

12:00 PM – 1:59 PM

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

2:00 PM – 3:59 PM

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Orders placed after the last cutoff of the day are scheduled for the first window of the next delivery day.

  • Earlier arrival: When volume is low, your order may arrive before your window.

  • Later arrival: Unforeseen circumstances (weather, traffic, road closures, vehicle issues, high volume) may push a delivery past its window. We will notify you if this happens.

What to Expect on Delivery Day

We will normally send you two updates:

  1. Order picked up: your order has left the dispensary.

  2. Driver nearby: your driver is close to your address.

If you authorize it when ordering, your driver may also contact you directly by call or text about arrival, access instructions, or delays. We only use your contact information to complete your delivery.

Receiving Your Order: ID and Age Requirements

Minnesota law requires us to verify every customer at the door. To receive your order you must:

  • Be 21 or older (or enrolled in the Minnesota medical cannabis registry program).

  • Present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, military ID, or tribal ID).

  • Be the person named on the order; we cannot hand an order to anyone else, including roommates, family members, or hotel staff.

  • Sign the delivery record. State rules require us to record your name, address, ID type and ID number for each delivery.

  • Be present in person at the delivery address.

We will not complete a delivery to anyone who appears to be under 21, cannot be verified, or appears visibly intoxicated.

Payment and Tips

  • All orders must be paid in full through the dispensary before delivery. Drivers do not collect payment for products.

  • Tips are optional and appreciated. 100% of tips go to your driver.

Wait Time

Our drivers run multiple deliveries on each route. Once your driver arrives and notifies you:

  • The driver is not required to wait more than 5 minutes.

  • When volume is low, the driver may wait longer at their discretion on a case-by-case basis.

  • Please be ready with your ID when you receive the "driver nearby" notification.

Failed Deliveries

A delivery is considered failed and will not be completed if:

  • The recipient is not present or does not respond within the wait time.

  • The recipient cannot provide valid ID, is under 21, or the name on the ID does not match the order.

  • The recipient refuses to sign the delivery record.

  • The address is incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible (locked gate, no buzzer access, etc.).

  • The recipient appears visibly intoxicated.

  • The location is unsafe or a prohibited delivery location (see Safety below).

What happens next: Undelivered orders are returned to the dispensary they came from; either immediately or by the end of the business day. To reschedule, refund, or reorder, contact the dispensary directly. Redelivery or cancellation fees, if any, are set by the dispensary.

Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances

Minnesota weather is real. During severe weather (blizzards, ice storms, tornado warnings, flooding) or other events beyond our control, we may:

  • Delay deliveries until conditions are safe.

  • Reschedule deliveries to a later window or the next delivery day.

  • Temporarily pause service in affected areas.

We will notify you of any delay as soon as possible. Driver and customer safety always comes first.

Safety

We value the safety of our drivers and our customers. A driver will not complete, and may immediately leave, a delivery if:

  • The area or situation appears unsafe, or the driver feels unsafe for any reason.

  • Illegal, dangerous, or threatening activity is occurring.

  • The driver is harassed, threatened, or treated disrespectfully.

Additionally:

  • Drivers will not enter your home or residence. Deliveries are handed off at the door or an agreed-upon meeting point at the address.

  • No one other than DSD employees may ride in a DSD vehicle, and customers may not enter the vehicle.

  • We do not deliver to locations where cannabis is prohibited by law or property rules, such as school grounds, treatment facilities, federal property, or properties that do not permit cannabis. Hotels and rentals are delivered to only where the property allows it.

Discretion and Privacy

Your privacy matters to us.

  • Unmarked vehicles. Our vehicles carry no cannabis branding or imagery.

  • No uniforms. Drivers dress in regular clothing and carry a DSD employee badge you can ask to see.

  • Out of sight. Products are stored securely and are never visible from outside the vehicle.

  • Handled with care. Every order is handled with the utmost care and stays sealed exactly as packaged by the dispensary.

  • Your information is used only to complete your delivery and to keep the records required by Minnesota law. We do not sell your information.
